Based on ancient Chinese medicine theory and Practices, OpenSky Qigong is designed to suit people living in our modern era.
Qigong Introductory Classes
Many Facilitators offer a free Introductory Class.
You will experience some of the practices for Level 1 and hear a little about Qigong.
OpenSky Qigong Level 1
- It is highly recommended to attend at least 2 terms of Level 1 before commencing Level 2
- It is possible to continue in Level 1 on an ongoing basis
OpenSky Qigong Level 2
- It is highly recommended to attend at least 2 terms of Level 2 before commencing Level 3
- It is possible to continue in Level 2 on an ongoing basis
OpenSky Qigong Level 3
- A minimum of 6 months Level 3 Instruction is required to complete the attendance requirements for Level 3
- Assisting at Level 1 and 2 Workshops and Classes is highly recommended
- Attendance credits for Training in allied fields may be given at the discretion of the OpenSky Qigong Program Facilitator
OpenSky Qigong Facilitator
- An (accredited) OpenSky Qigong Facilitator has completed the attendance recommendations for Levels 1 to 3
- Weekly online Classes, occasional Workshops and Retreats are offered for ongoing Instruction
- Qigong Facilitators attend Level 1, 2 and 3 Workshops and Classes as Assistants for ongoing Training in Facilitating groups and in Mentoring and Support of individuals
OpenSky Qigong Class Facilitator
- An accredited OpenSky Qigong Facilitator may offer to Facilitate a Level 1 and/or Level 2 OpenSky Qigong Class. They will be Mentored and Supported to do so.
- OpenSky Qigong Class Facilitators are accredited for 12 months
- For ongoing accreditation OpenSky Qigong Class Facilitators are required to demonstrate a minimum of 50 hours per year ongoing Development
- This may include the hours Facilitating their own Class or attending Level 1, 2 or 3 Workshops and Classes. This may also include Experience or Training in an allied field
OpenSky Qigong Personal Facilitator
- An accredited OpenSky Qigong Facilitator may offer to Mentor and support individuals on a personal basis to learn OpenSky Qigong Practices. They will be Mentored and Supported to do so
- OpenSky Qigong Personal Facilitators are accredited for 12 months
- For ongoing accreditation OpenSky Qigong Personal Facilitators are required to demonstrate a minimum of 50 hours per year ongoing personal or professional Development
- This may include the hours Facilitating their own Class or attending Level 1, 2 or 3 Workshops and Classes or work or study in an allied field
